Blue Lotus

Blue Lotus Jazz is a Humboldt County duo featuring Nalini Cogswell on guitar and vocals and Dave Wilson on seven-string guitar. Specializing in swing and bossa nova with a romantic aesthetic, Wilson's seven-string adds a bass dimension for a full duo sound. Performing throughout Humboldt County for more than a decade, the duo plays casual restaurant sets including Frankie's NY Bagels' Summer Music Series (15 live shows July-August, 10am-1pm) and early-evening dinner sets at the Larrupin Cafe in Trinidad. Expect classic swing, bossa nova standards and romantic jazz in an all-ages, dining-room setting.
