Blue Lake Community Harvest Festival

The Blue Lake Community Resource Center and the Mad River Grange host the Community Harvest Festival, an afternoon celebrating the abundance of the season and the community. Held Sunday, October 18, 2026, 1–4 p.m. at the Mad River Grange. Features live bluegrass from Banjo Makes 3, apple pressing (bring your own jar; apple donations welcome, no windfall apples), the Grange's annual pumpkin-growing contest, a harvest sharing table with Neighborhood Harvest, free family-friendly art activities from the WonderWagon, gardening education with the UC Master Gardeners, and a recipe swap and seasonal dish share (bring a favorite harvest-inspired finger food with an ingredient note card).
