Arcata Farmers’ Market

The Arcata Plaza Farmers' Market is open every Saturday year-round, rain or shine - the largest of North Coast Growers' Association's markets with 70+ local farmers and makers at peak season. Dating to the 1978 Community Producers Market and located on all four sides of Arcata Plaza since the mid-1980s (center food court added 2004, year-round since 2012). Shop Humboldt-County-grown GMO-free produce, meat, fish, cheese, eggs, bread, flowers, plants and artisan goods, plus hot food vendors in the center food court. Free live music weekly - e.g. Asha Nan on Sept 12 sponsored by Flying Blue Dog Homestead & Nursery (see full music schedule). Family-friendly - picnics on the grass, hula hoopers, occasional tai chi/flash mobs. Full Plaza street closure Saturdays 6AM-3:30PM (market 9AM-2PM Apr-Nov; 10AM-2PM Dec-Mar). CalFresh EBT accepted with $15 Market Match at info booth. No pets; trained ADA service animals welcome. Gleaning partnership donates extra produce.
