A Banjo Makes 3

A Banjo Makes 3 is a traditional bluegrass quartet based in Humboldt County, California, born in the Old Growth Redwoods. The band features Doc Woglom (mandolin, Art Professor at Cal Poly Humboldt), Charlie Sleep (guitar, jazz-trained flatpicker influenced by Tony Rice and David Grier), Kevin Ralston (banjo, 3-finger Scruggs-style) and Larisa (upright bass, California Bluegrass Association). Active in the Humboldt scene they regularly play local venues including Eel River Brewing Company, Six Rivers Brewery, Old Growth Cellars and community events around Arcata and Eureka, including Lost Coast Outpost Lowdown listings.
