Whit Smit's Swingin' Strings

Whit Smith's Swingin' Strings is a Western swing and hot jazz ensemble assembled by guitarist Whit Smith, founding member of the Austin, Texas trio Hot Club of Cowtown. Built around Smith's vintage archtop guitar work and double-stop harmonies, the group convenes world-class players for festival sets of pre-war swing, hot jazz and western string-band music. The lineup performs as a specially curated collaboration at the Redwood Coast Music Festival in Eureka, California.
