Waul of the Weald
Waul of the Weald is a solo forest folk project by Webby based in Whitethorn in southern Humboldt County, California. Rooted in the ancient woods of northern California, the music pairs melodic 12-string guitar and acoustic strings with low, resonant vocals to evoke quiet forest mysteries. Its self-titled debut was released August 1, 2016 on cassette via Einsamkeit Tapes with bonus track Blackberry and later on CD via Pest Productions, with follow-up release famine festival appearing in 2024.
