Ukulele Fight Club
The Ukulele Fight Club of Humboldt is a community ukulele collective based in Arcata, California, welcoming players of all levels and ages. Founded in 2019 after a member found a "Ukulele Fight Club" hat at the Reno Ukulele Festival, the club meets twice monthly to jam on pop, oldies, country, rock, punk, R&B and a little Hawaiian music. A DreamMaker program of the Ink People Center for the Arts, UFC hosts beginner nights, open mics, workshops at the Humboldt Folklife Festival, and community events such as Ukes4Peace and Sunny Brae Porchfest.
