Tom Constanten

Tom Constanten, known as T.C., is an American keyboardist and composer, and a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee as a member of the Grateful Dead, with whom he played from 1968 to 1970. Trained in avant-garde classical composition under Luciano Berio, Karlheinz Stockhausen and Pierre Boulez, he brings experimental prepared-piano textures and improvisational playing to psychedelic rock and the extended Grateful Dead songbook. He performs solo piano and with projects including Dose Hermanos and Live Dead & Brothers, an all-star celebration of the Grateful Dead and Allman Brothers Band.
