The Last Wild Buffalo

The Last Wild Buffalo is a soulful Americana band from Utah, blending the raw honesty of folk with the grit and energy of rock, bluegrass, and a rebellious streak of punk. Originally finding their sound in Alaska, childhood friends Jonny Celaya and Isaac Woodruff returned to Utah and formed the band in June 2024 with Ella Celaya and Troy Lybbert while attending Utah State University. Fiddle, banjo, acoustic guitar, upright bass, and close harmonies drive a high-energy live show that has carried them through self-funded touring and two full-length releases, the self-titled debut and 2026's Still Here, Somehow. For them the project is about building community, with every crowd treated like a gathering of friends.
