Stu Allen

Stu Allen is a San Francisco Bay Area guitarist and vocalist celebrated for his Jerry Garcia-inspired interpretations of Grateful Dead music. He fronts the jam band Stu Allen & Mars Hotel and has served as lead guitarist and vocalist for Melvin Seals & JGB, Front Street and in collaboration with Los Angeles-based Grateful Dead tribute Cubensis. Known for recreating the Dead's live energy with extended improvisation, he regularly headlines Bay Area venues and festivals including Jerry Day and HopMonk Tavern residencies.
