Steve Lucky

Steve Lucky & the Rhumba Bums featuring Miss Carmen Getit are a San Francisco Bay Area-based jump blues, swing and jazz band led by pianist Steve Lucky and vocalist/guitarist Carmen Getit. Called "Instant Crowd Favorites" by the San Francisco Blues Festival and praised for "superior musicianship" by DownBeat, they bring high-energy, witty battle-of-the-sexes showmanship to festivals and clubs worldwide. Formed in 1993 and solidified with Getit's addition in 1994, their repertoire draws on 1930s-1950s R&B, boogie-woogie and swing, with acclaimed releases like "Come Out Swingin'!" and "Some Like It Hot!" They are featured performers at the 2026 Redwood Coast Music Festival in Eureka.
