Steely Dead

Steely Dead is a national touring band from Denver, Colorado that creates a musical hybrid of the Grateful Dead and Steely Dan. Sonic worlds collide between the structure, arrangement and precision studio recordings of Steely Dan cross-pollinated with the Grateful Dead's free-flowing, melodic improvisation and masterful song segues. Comprised of Dave Abear on guitar, Matt Abear on bass, Chris Sheldon on drums, and Dylan Teifer on keys, the band merges these concepts while remaining playful with jam segues between songs, delivering a unique musical blend for fans of both legendary bands.
