Siena Nelson

Siena Nelson is a Blue Lake, Humboldt County-based country singer beloved locally for her classic country repertoire centered on Loretta Lynn and Patsy Cline with touches of soul and Americana. She came to Humboldt in 1993 as an HSU theatre major, was mentored by Jackie Dandeneau of the Arcata Playhouse and joined the all-woman band The Brendas in 2012, later becoming a fixture at the Logger Bar and performing with the One Night Stand Country Band featuring Jake Wiegandt, Dave Ryan, John Ray, Ron Sharp and Paul DeMark. Known for storytelling, original songs and powerful covers at venues including the Mad River Grange, EXIT Theatre and Dell'Arte International, she is described as a lifelong Blue Lake resident and community favorite.
