Sax Gordon

No other performer on the scene today brings to life and pushes forward the great tradition of Rockin' American Saxophone like Sax Gordon. From garage bands, church groups and jazz combos in northern California to five years touring internationally with Luther "Guitar Junior" Johnson and work with the Duke Robillard Band, Roomful of Blues and legends like Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown, James Cotton and Solomon Burke, he has developed a wild, honking style rooted in Blues, Soul, Jazz and Rock & Roll. His latest album "EXTREME SAX!" (Gotta Have Records, 2021) returns to 1950s Rock & Roll and Rhythm & Blues style, when the rocking saxophone was king of the bandstand.
