Sarah Torres

Sarah Torres is an Indigenous activist and singer-songwriter based in Eureka, California, whose blues-grooving, country-picking guitar and gripping vocals deliver heartfelt originals about love and social justice. Taught to play guitar by her father as a teenager and inspired by Joni Mitchell, she performs around Humboldt County at the Arcata Playhouse, Phatsy Kline's Parlor Lounge, Outer Space Arcata and Kaptain's Quarters. A regular street performer at Clarke Plaza in Eureka, she plays free amplified sets on Sundays and also appears at benefits, street concerts and political demonstrations across California.
