Ruby Ruth George

Ruby Ruth George is a soulful Americana singer-songwriter from the Redwood Coast of Humboldt County, California, blending country, folk, jazz, blues and gospel into heartfelt, story-driven songs. Born and raised in Humboldt County and now based in Northern California, they began singing in gospel choir at age four and later shaped a sound marked by raw vulnerability, sharp wit and soulful resilience on guitar, trumpet, saxophone and violin. Following their 2017 debut album Life Worth Living released as Georgia Ruth, they continue to write and perform original music that reflects their experience as a disabled queer artist and builds community across Humboldt County and beyond.
