Rob Diggins

Rob Diggins is a Humboldt County-based world-class violinist, violist, guitarist and vocalist who performs as soloist and principal with the Portland Baroque Orchestra and as half of the eclectic vocal-string duo The Flying Oms with Jolianne Einem. Born in Santa Monica and raised in Topanga Canyon in the 1960s, he now lives in Trinidad/Eureka and blends Celtic, Baroque, Gypsy Jazz, Klezmer, Bluegrass and Indie Folk into what the duo calls "Funky-chic, Elegant, Topanga Chamber Music" spanning Mozart to Taylor Swift. His extensive credits include Bach's complete string concertos with Monica Huggett, recordings with Collegium Vocale Ghent, La Chapelle Royale and Musica ad Rhenum, and regular local performances at Humboldt farmers markets, breweries and art nights.
