Poor Man's Whiskey is Northern California's outlaw music bards known for high-energy live shows and an incomparable fusion of bluegrass/old time, southern rock and old school jam. Dubbed a "High-Octane Hootenanny," they blend story-telling originals with expertly crafted covers and zany on-stage shenanigans, including tribute sets like "Dark Side of the Moonshine" — a bluegrass interpretation of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon. With six studio albums and sold-out shows at the Fillmore in San Francisco, they are festival favorites at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, High Sierra, Byron Bay Blues and Roots and many more, creating a new show every night.
