Parasite Caste

Parasite Caste is a three-piece doom, punk, and sludge metal band from Bakersfield, California. The trio builds slow, low-end riffing into terse, hardcore-charged songs, with caustic vocals and a persistently bleak atmosphere. Their discography includes The Tide of Severed Ties (2021), the Shrapnel Thought EP (2023), and the full-length Amplified Emptiness (2025), recorded and mixed by Justin Martin at The Noise Feed and mastered by Carl Saff. They have also appeared on Weedian's Trip to California sludge compilation and performed at Concatenate Fest.
