Nick Moss Trio

Nick Moss Trio is the stripped-down configuration of Chicago blues guitarist and singer Nick Moss, who learned his craft playing bass and guitar behind blues legends including Jimmy Dawkins, Willie "Big Eyes" Smith and Jimmy Rogers. Fronting his own group since the late 1990s, Moss is one of contemporary Chicago blues' leading torchbearers, and his bands have earned multiple Blues Music Awards, including Band of the Year. The trio format spotlights his muscular, soul-charged guitar work and vocals over a driving bass-and-drums foundation, drawing on classic 1940s through 1960s electric Chicago blues.
