A Guggenheim Fellowship and Djerassi Center Artist Fellowship recipient, he is best known for his acclaimed stage adaptation of George Orwell's 1984, which has toured internationally, and for his satirical musical comedies with the Mime Troupe. His work focuses on theatre of social and economic justice, political self-determination and musical comedy, and he was honored with the 2026 international Prize of Hope.
