Melvin Seals & JGB
Melvin Seals & JGB is an American jam band led by Hammond B-3 organist Melvin Seals, longtime member of the Jerry Garcia Band from 1981 until Jerry Garcia's death in 1995. Formed in 1995 as JGB, the band continues the Jerry Garcia Band legacy with soulful, improvisational performances blending rock, jazz, funk and R&B. The current lineup features Seals with guitarist John Kadlecik, bassist John-Paul McLean, drummer Jeremy Hoenig and vocalists Lady Chi and Darlene Coleman, known for high-energy live shows and faithful renditions of Garcia classics.
