Maria Mar

Maria Mar is a theater artist and director of the site-specific, sensorial ritual theater experience 'Labyrinth Within.' Conceived and directed by Mar, the dream-play invites blindfolded audiences to journey through darkness via intimate sensory portals — scent, touch, taste, whisper and song — to reconnect with felt memory. The work was presented at the Carlo Theater at Dell'Arte International in Blue Lake, CA, and is performed by Sara Kei, Sean Lang, Tossa Hayward and Maria Mar with soundscape by Lara Etzen.
