Marc Maron

Marc Maron is an American stand-up comedian, writer, actor, and podcast host whose brutally honest, self-deprecating style has made him a defining voice in alternative comedy. Born in Jersey City and raised largely in Albuquerque, he began performing stand-up in 1987 and came up through the Los Angeles and New York comedy scenes. His act is known for searching personal material about family, relationships, addiction, and sobriety, delivered with sharp cultural commentary. He created and starred in the IFC series Maron and hosted the long-running interview podcast WTF with Marc Maron, whose guests ranged from Robin Williams to Barack Obama.
