Live Dead & Brothers
Live Dead & Brothers is an all-star Grateful Dead and Allman Brothers Band tribute formed in April 2024, comprised of actual and legacy members from the extended Grateful Dead and Allman Brothers families. The sextet-plus ensemble recreates the co-billed 1969-1973 era of both bands, focusing on improvisational jam, psychedelic blues and Southern rock. Since forming they have played over 74 shows, blending classics like 'Ramblin' Man,' 'Morning Dew' and 'Jessica' with Acid Test spoken-word textures for an authentic, immersive live experience.
