Linda Wise

Linda Wise is a Eureka-based visual artist and manager for a local garbage company who transforms discarded materials into sculpture. She creates whimsical and functional works including sculpted deer, cows, goats, warrior women, benches and gates, letting found objects guide the form, and also paints in oil and acrylic with a focus on oddities and clown imagery. Her work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions at the Morris Graves Museum, Kronos Fine Art Gallery, C Street Hall Gallery and other northern California venues, and she received the City of Eureka Artist of the Year Award.
