Ladies Of the Canyon

Ladies of the Canyon is a Canadian band from Montreal, Quebec, composed of Tara Martin, Maïa Davies, Jasmine Bleile and Anna Ruddick (past member Senja Sargeant). Their sound melds roots, rock, country and Americana, beginning as a countrified 1970s California soft-rock sound in Montreal's Mile-End. They released Haunted Woman (2010) and Diamond Heart (2013) on Warner Music Canada, were nominated for a Canadian Country Music Association Rising Star award, and toured with Barenaked Ladies, Broken Social Scene and The Dears.
