Kim Reid is a Humboldt County watercolorist, illustrator, and sculptor whose work centers on the redwood forests, rivers, and Lost Coast landscapes of Northern California. A professional graphic artist and illustrator with decades of experience, she studied fine art, art history, and design before building a career in technical illustration and graphic design. Her painting collections also explore California missions, European castles, and ancestral villages, while her ReefLife series translates reef fish into brightly painted relief sculptures. Her work has been exhibited at the Morris Graves Museum of Art, Many Hands Gallery, and galleries and library spaces throughout Humboldt and Southern Humboldt.
