Julie F the Rulies
Julie f the rulies is a Los Angeles DIY act formed in 2023 and fronted by Julie Gilbert. Blending raw indie rock with punk and emo influences, the band delivers a distinctive lo-fi sound rooted in the city's queer and underground music scene. They released the full-length Santa Susana in 2025 through Puzz Records on limited cassette, following earlier EPs including Shapeshifter and wikiHow. The project has become a regular on the Los Angeles house-show and small-venue circuit.
