Jonathan Stout Trio

The Jonathan Stout Trio is a Los Angeles-based small-group swing ensemble led by guitarist and bandleader Jonathan Stout. Pairing clarinet, guitar, and bass with vocals, the trio showcases the pre-bebop guitar traditions of Charlie Christian and Allan Reuss in an intimate concert setting. Originally debuted at the Academy of Music Theatre in Northampton, Massachusetts as part of Django in June, the trio has featured collaborators such as clarinetist Nate Ketner and bassist Riley Baker. Stout's wider groups, including the seven-piece Campus Five and the Jonathan Stout Orchestra, rank among the world's premier swing dance bands.
