The Jonathan Doyle Swingtet is a traditional jazz and swing ensemble led by saxophonist, clarinetist, and composer Jonathan Doyle, based in Port Townsend, Washington. Formed in 2015 during a Monday-night residency at Austin's Sahara Lounge, the group plays original compositions and vintage hot-jazz repertoire for both listeners and dancers. Its lineup centers on Doyle's tenor saxophone alongside cornettist David Jellema, trombonist Mark Gonzales, and a hard-swinging rhythm section. The band has released the albums Too Hot For Socks (2016) and The Road Is Leaving (2018), plus the live collections At The Sahara and From Seoul.
