John Lane

John Lane is a percussionist, composer, and interdisciplinary artist whose work spans contemporary percussion, spoken word, and theater. Based in Huntsville, Texas, where he directs percussion studies at Sam Houston State University, he has performed across the Americas, Australia, Europe, and Japan. His recordings include The Landscape Scrolls (Starkland Records) and Trigger: Artists Respond to Gun Violence (Albany Records), and with Allen Otte he co-created the social-justice performance project The Innocents.
