Jimmy Foot

Jimmy Foot is a Humboldt County-based guitarist, songwriter and world music producer who has played professionally since the late 1960s, spanning surf, psychedelic rock, reggae and world beat. He moved from San Francisco to McKinleyville in 2001 where he built and operates Bongo Boy Studio and taught audio production at Humboldt State University. He is best known for his work with The Rhyth-O-Matics, production for Humboldt reggae artists Rod Deal & The I-Deals, and as a member of local bands Kingfoot, Ghost Train and Northcoasters.
