James Zeller and the J Street Regulars

James Zeller and the J Street Regulars is an Arcata-based jazz ensemble led by trombonist and vocalist James Zeller, a former New York City sideman who has performed with the Village Vanguard Orchestra, Jazz at Lincoln Center, and the Jimmy Heath Orchestra. The group serves as the house band for Creative Sanctuary's jazz concert series, playing early- to mid-century jazz, swing, and American Songbook standards alongside originals with a rotating cast of Humboldt County players. Zeller relocated to Arcata in 2017 and has continued to lead the trio and larger ensembles at festivals, weddings, and venues up and down the West Coast.
