Humboldt Harmonaires

The Humboldt Harmonaires are Eureka, California's chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, chartered on November 16, 1961 and a community fixture on the North Coast for over 60 years. Originally an all-male chorus, the group now welcomes all singers and rehearses weekly at Perry's House in Eureka. They perform at local events such as the Redwood Coast Jazz Festival, Crabs baseball season openers and the Humboldt County Fair, and present two major shows each year: a Spring Show and their informal fall 'Beer & Peanuts' show. The chorus has also awarded thousands of dollars in college scholarships to local high school music students.
