Hip Hop Humboldt

HipHopHumboldt is Humboldt County's hip hop podcast and FM radio show, launched in 2021 to showcase the MCs, producers and wordsmiths working across the North Coast. Created and hosted by David Haynie with co-host Al Bear, the show features interviews with local hip hop artists and works to bridge generations of Humboldt County hip hop creatives. Its community work extends to photography, videography and marketing support for area artists, and it was named Best Local Podcast in the North Coast Journal's Best of Humboldt contest in 2023.
