The Gritty Kitties are a trio of tenacious, sassy women from Arcata, California, who perform classic tunes with their own twist. Not your average garage band, their instruments of choice are drums, tuba, and trombone. They are a familiar presence at Humboldt County community events, appearing at Eureka's First Saturday Arts Alive and Arcata's Sunny Brae Porch Fest.
