Greaseland Allstars

Kid Andersen's Greaseland Allstars is the rotating blues-and-soul revue assembled by Norwegian-born guitarist and producer Christoffer "Kid" Andersen, founder of San Jose's Greaseland Studios. The ensemble pairs Andersen's fiery guitar work with his wife Lisa Andersen's powerhouse vocals and a shifting cast of veteran West Coast players from the Greaseland and Little Village Foundation orbit. Their revue-style sets mix Chicago blues, Southern soul, and gospel-fired R&B, and have appeared at the San Jose Fountain Blues Festival and the Redwood Coast Music Festival in Eureka.
