Girl Trouble

Girl Trouble is a long-running garage rock band from Tacoma, Washington, formed in 1983 by drummer Bon Von Wheelie, guitarist Kahuna, bassist Dale Phillips, and vocalist K.P. Kendall. Blending the 1960s Pacific Northwest rock of the Sonics and the Wailers with the snot and energy of punk, they became cult heroes of the region's underground scene. Their 1988 debut album Hit It or Quit It was the first full-length release on a then-fledgling Sub Pop, and their own Wig Out! Records issued much of their catalog. After more than two decades away from the studio, they returned in 2026 with the album As Is, a co-release with K Records, still practicing in the same family shed where they started.
