Garberville Town Band

The Garberville Town Band is a horn-and-drum ensemble based in Garberville, in Southern Humboldt County, California. The group plays brass-band music drawn from New Orleans funk, salsa and Latin grooves, Balkan brass and other world traditions, with original material woven in. Led by trumpeter Andy Barnett, the band has long been a fixture at Humboldt gatherings, including the Mateel Summer Arts & Music Festival, the Redwood Playhouse and community benefits. It performs acoustically and is known for a large lineup of top local horn players and percussionists.
