FRY'D is the solo acoustic project of Portland, Oregon songwriter Derek Burros. Built from fingerpicked guitar, weathered vocals, and lo-fi home recordings, the songs drift between experimental folk, alt-country, and noise-tinged drone. Burros has issued a run of EPs through Portland's Feel Bad Beats, including Eventually Real and See You in Hell, and collaborated with Just Nick on the 2025 split American Progress. The project has toured the West Coast and shared stages across the Pacific Northwest and Northern California.
