Evan Morden

Evan Morden is a Humboldt County-based fiddler from Arcata, California specializing in Irish and Celtic traditional music. He began playing violin at age 3, inspired by his father's love for Irish melodies, and currently performs with the Irish pub band The Vanishing Pints (formerly The Gatehouse Well) and in collaborations with Seabury Gould, Dominic Romano, Claire Bent and Malcolm Flint. His repertoire blends traditional Irish jigs and reels with bluegrass and folk originals, featured regularly at local wineries, breweries and community halls across Humboldt County, including as part of the trio Drop of the Pure.
