Elk Thunder Drum

Elk Thunder Drum is a Native American powwow drum group of Modoc and Klamath heritage based in Southern Oregon. The singers carry traditional songs for powwows, ceremonies, and cultural gatherings across Oregon and Northern California. The group has served as host drum at the annual Native American Arts Festival and Mother's Day Pow Wow in Samoa, California, and its members include culture bearer Earl Huitt and singer David Huitt. Elk Thunder Drum is also a frequent guest at Humboldt County benefits, including Clan Dyken's Beauty Way tour.
