Elegant Humanoid

Elegant Humanoid is an experimental electronic duo based in Eureka, California, consisting of Mike Warden (vocals, synthesizers, drum machine, clarinet) and Kit Lamb (synthesizers, bass, sampling, violin). The project blends drone, kosmische, industrial and noise-ambient textures with electroacoustic improvisation, as heard on releases including The Grey Zone (2024), Unformed (2015), Ideoplastia (2014) and Metatropos (2014) recorded at the Grey Zone and Scabby Roads/Ronerberg North in Humboldt County. Their Bandcamp bio adopts a playful alien persona — a 6 ft. tall grey-green humanoid with compound eyes — reflecting the group's otherworldly sound.
