Dragged by Horses

Dragged by Horses is a three-piece sonic assault from Humboldt County, California, behind the redwood curtain, five hours from the nearest urban center. The band — Pablo Midence (vocals/guitar), Jody Goldman (bass) and Chris Jaster (drums) — describe themselves as sounding like a "natural disaster" or "violence orchestra." Their isolation among Humboldt's beautiful, quiet scenery and crushing poverty has helped them evolve beyond typical stoner-rock into heavy, sharp and intelligent tracks.
