Dirty Cello

Dirty Cello is a San Francisco-based string band led by cross-over cellist and vocalist Rebecca Roudman that puts a high-energy, cello-driven spin on blues, rock, and Americana. Formed in 2011 by Roudman and guitarist Jason Eckl, the group grew from a duo into a full band also featuring bassist Colin Williams and drummer Anthony Petrocchi. Known for a flexible, improvisational set list, they move between down-home blues, stomping bluegrass, and genre-defying covers, performing across California, the U.S., and internationally.
