David Bienenstock

The History of Weed is a one-man multimedia comedy show created and performed by David Bienenstock, a veteran cannabis journalist and author of How to Smoke Pot (Properly): A Highbrow Guide to Getting High. A former Head of Content at HIGH TIMES and co-creator of the VICE series Bong Appetit, he also hosts the long-running Great Moments in Weed History podcast. Now based in Portland, Oregon, Bienenstock condenses 10,000 years of cannabis history into a highly entertaining hour of storytelling, slideshow and Q&A.
