Dave Bennett & The Memphis Speed Kings

The Memphis Speed Kings are a vintage rockabilly and rock 'n' roll band led by multi-instrumentalist Dave Bennett, playing the music of Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, and Chuck Berry. Formed in 2009 when Bennett and drummer Hal Smith discovered a shared admiration for Jerry Lee Lewis, the group delivers high-energy, piano-driven rockabilly that keeps dance floors full. Bennett, a Detroit-area clarinet virtuoso and bandleader, also fronts jazz and swing projects and has appeared as a featured soloist at Carnegie Hall with The New York Pops.
