Daniel Nickerson

Daniel Nickerson is a songster, artist and farmer based in the Eel River Valley of Humboldt County, CA, who has played over 300 gigs in bars, breweries, restaurants, and festivals around Humboldt County since 2016. His inviting performance mixes songs, stories, poetry and humor, drawing from a repertoire of over 50 originals and 250+ traditionals spanning folk, country, jazz and rock, influenced by artists like Michael Hurley, Jonathan Richman, Patti Smith, Joe Strummer and Lou Reed. Performing primarily as a one-man-band with guitar, keys and percussion, he also collaborates with the psychedelic cumbia group Makenu, the country-fried ska-boogie band The Cowtown Sound, and the multimedia troupe The Cowtown Puppet Players.
