CV

Control Voltage (CV), formerly Cerebral Vibrator, is a post-punk and goth-rock band from Eureka, California, built around analog synths, guitar, bass, drum machine and vocals. Their songs imagine far-future dystopias and draw on darkwave, new wave and space rock. Founded in 2013, the band has appeared at Lunasa Cascadia Fest and opened for acts including ORB, Nik Turner's Hawkwind, Faun Fables and Crack Cloud. After recording an album at 3-D Light Studios in Arcata, the group reunited in 2026 with founding members Robert Tripp and Tavan Anderson, vocalist Aimée Hennessy, and additional players Kit Lamb, Mike Warden and Christian Madrigal.
